The Toronto Maple Leafs snapped a 3-game skid as they beat the Detroit Red Wings by a score of 5-2 on Saturday, October 12, 2019. With the game tied heading into the third period, the Leafs got goals from Alexander Kerfoot, Jake Muzzin and Trevor Moore, helping the Maple Leafs roll pas the Red Wings, 5-2. The Leafs big guns of Matthews, Marner and Nylander were held pointless. John Tavares was held to a single point.
