Hockey Returns to Central NL

The Gander Flyers and the Grand Falls-Windsor Cataracts will be back on the ice again this hockey season. The first game is slated for February 1, 2020 at the Steele Community Centre in Gander with the second game taking place on February 2, 2020 at the Joe Byrne Arena.
From all indication, these will be the only two teams playing in the Central West league.
There had been some hints at a third team being added to the league but that appears to have fallen through.
Following this home-and-home opener, teams will then hit the ice on February 15-16 with the remaining eight games in the season being announced shortly.
