The Winnipeg Jets sent John Albert back to the St. John’s IceCaps to make room for Zach Bogosian who is expected to return off the injred reserve list or for Anthony Peluso who has one game remaining on his three-game suspension.

Albert was called up to the big club earlier in the month and scored his first NHL goal against the New York Rangers. He seen relatively limited icetime during his stint with the Jets, logging just around 6 minutes per game.

In returning to the AHL, Albert is hoping to add to his point total thus far where he has scored three goals and had a total of 8 points.
