Wesleyville Beothics Win Atom C Division Finals

Things couldn’t be better for the Wesleyville Beothics as they walked away with the Atom C division final on Sunday with an impressive 5-1 win over the Gander Flyers. The Beothics were led by William Budgell who had a dominating four goal performance for the winners. Nick Quinton notched the lone goal for the Flyers.

From the opening game of the tournament the Wesleyville Beothics dominated their opposition.

They dumped the Grand Falls-Windsor Cataracts 9-0, trumped the Corner Brook Royals 10-1 and then thumped the Gander Flyers 6-0 in round robin play. They outscored their opposition in a fashion that hasn’t been seen before in the division.

They scored 25 goals for and gave up only a single goal.

The Gander Flyers walked away with the silver medal and Nick Quinton was named the most sportsmanlike player in front of his hometown fans.
