Spartans Defeat Titans

The Spartans Ian MacDonald scored three times including the eventual game winning goal as the Stephenville High Spartans beat the Elwood High Lakers in the West Coast High School Hockey League action. William Bailey, Cody White and Trevor Snow also notched goals for the Spartans, while Jacob Bennett, Darren Gould and Jared Bartlett scored for the Titans in a losing effort.

In the third period, it would be all Spartans as MacDonald completed his hat trick and teammates Devon Ryan and Trevor Snow notched their goals, giving the Spartans a 6-3 win.
