The Corner Brook Royals moved into first place in the Central West Newfoundland Senior Hockey League with a 4-1 win over the Clarenville Caribous. With the win, the Royals extend its winning streak to 3 games and take a 1 point lead in the league standings.

The Flyers dug deep in the second period and scored two power-play goals. The first came from Jordan Morrison, assisted by Ryan Matheson and Jordan Escott. Mark Tobin notched his power play maker at 15:40, tying the game at 3-3 after 2 periods.
