Hockey Canada, in partnership with Hockey NL and the Hockey Canada Foundation have agreed to host the 2020 Global Girls’ Game in co-operation with the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF).

The game has been scheduled to take place at 3:00 pm on February 8th at the Mile One Centre in St. John’s.
There will be 16 female players from across Newfoundland and Labrador representing Hockey NL and Canada.

The event is being promoted as a weekend to meet new people, leadership development, team building activities, off-ice training and playing for Team Canada on the international stage.
