The Grand Falls-Windsor Cataracts showed why they currently hold first place in the Newfoundland and Labrador Senior Hockey League (NLSHL) with a dominating performance over the Eastlink CeeBee Stars.
The CeeBees struck first at the 4:30 mark of the first period when Matt Bragg scored a goal, assisted by Colin Feehan and Matthew Quinn. The Cataracts Luke Gallant struck then on the power play at 11:27 on a goal assisted by Cam Fergus and Rob Hennigar. Michael Brent scored with just 3 seconds remaining in the first period giving the Cataracts a 2-1 lead at the end of the first period of play.

The Cataracts scored four unanswered goals in the third, as Cam Fergus, Greg Hoffe, Luke Gallant and Andrew Pearcey all popped goals past the CeeBees goalie Kennedy.
